- Describe the three witches’ physical appearance in each film.
- Describe the setting of each film; what effects does the setting have on the tone (the emotional undertone) of the film?
- What are they saying? Which words strike you?
- What do you think is happening in this scene?
- Try to find one symbol in each scene and make an inference/form a question about what it might represent.

I think that Macbeth is about a Scottish King who wants something so bad that he is willing to kill anyone for it.
ReplyDeleteI predict that Macbeth is about superstition and bad luck.
ReplyDeleteI think that in this play, a greedy man named Macbeth will commit a murder to try and get what he wants.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it something about like the kings wife falls in love some one else or some sort of love controversy that leads to lots of death.
ReplyDeleteI think this play is about Macbeth being cursed by the witches and how he reacts to the curse.
ReplyDeleteI think this play is about a man who breaks from society but then is punished for his choices and others around him are hurt in the process.
ReplyDeleteI think it is about a cursed family
ReplyDeleteI think this play is about a King that murders anyone that stands in his way from keeping the throne.
ReplyDeleteI think the play Macbeth is about a cursed king that always sets out to murder people in his kingdom.
ReplyDeleteI think that this play is about a guy who is wanting something bad to happen and is willing to do anything for it.
ReplyDeleteI predict that Macbeth will have a life filled with bad luck and will become superstitious.
ReplyDeleteI think this play is about the way of murder and how it has to do with life, and how violence is everywhere even in modern day
ReplyDeleteI predict that the novel Mackbeth will be similar to the loss of the author.
ReplyDeleteI think that Macbeth is about a dictator who is kills people who go against him.
ReplyDeleteI think that Macbeth will be about a guy that nobody likes because he is insane and kills people.
ReplyDeleteI think this play is about where witches put a curse on Macbeth and he becomes evil.
ReplyDeleteSince this play is a tragedy, I think that Macbeth will die and his wife will die as well. Macbeth will kill lots of people before he dies but he will feel bad about his life and try to change in the end.
ReplyDeleteI think Shakespeare wanted to depict modern society at the time and he does this through the dark story of Macbeth.
ReplyDeleteI predict that the king will cheat on his wife and his wife will get witches to put a curse on him and there will be lots of death.
ReplyDeleteI think Macbeth is about a man in Scotland and his adventures and hardships he goes through.
ReplyDeleteI think Macbeth is a tradgedy about a Scottish general who's wife is somewhat crazy and kills anyone Macbeth gets close to
ReplyDeleteI predict that the king dosent have something he wants and will do anything to get what he wants.
ReplyDeleteI think Macbeth, a famous general (inside cover of book), will be cursed by 3 witches and told a prophecy about how he will become king but will die. Based off history, I believe will kill Banquo (another general) in order to become king. However Banquo's son, will kill Macbeth. Just like how Macbeth (real life) killed Duncan I in order to become king, but was later killed by Duncan I's son, Malcolm III.
